ITINERARY 



GUWAHATI/ZIRO/GUWAHATI  4 DAYS 3 NIGHT


Day 1 GUWAHATI - ZIRO-(461.9 Km 10 h 33 min Via NH 32)

Arrive at LGB Int Airport proceed towards to Ziro, Overnight stay in Hotel.

Day 2 ZIRO

After Breakfast in the morning enjoy full day sightseeing, proceed to Apatani Villages Such as BULA, BAMIN MICHI, HARI MUDANG TAGE, HIJA, DUTTA, HONG (2nd largest village in Asia). Tarin Fish Farm, Kiwi Garden. Return to Hotel by evening for overnight stay.

Day 3 ZIRO

After Breakfast in the morning, proceed to Shideshwar Nath Temple (Tallest Shiv lingam in Asia) 7 km away from Hapoli Township. Evening free for leisure enjoy Shoping at Hapoli town ( District Headquarter).

DAY 4 ZIRO-GUWAHATI- 

Early morning check out from hotel Drive to Guwahati Airport for a return journey home. Tour End.

HOW TO REACH ZIRO

BY RAIL- Ziro dose not have its own Railway Station and the Nearest Railway Station is at Naharlagun, Naharlagun is well connected to various part of the Country/State and Tourist can take a bus or hire a Taxi to reach Ziro.

BY ROAD- Direct Private are available from Guwahati to Ziro

BY AIR- Nearest Airport Guwahati International Airport from Guwahati Airport Pawan Hans Helicopter services are avail for Ziro. 




PEOPLE

       The Apatani, they are very friendly Nature, they practice permanent wetland Cultivation hilly terrain by slicing the hills.Arguably, the most captivating members are the older women of the tribe, who wear facial tattoos and massive nose rings. The tradition, though non-existent now, dates back to pre-modern times, when the Apatani women were considered to be the most beautiful in all of Arunachal Pradesh.





PLACES TO VISIT

              
APATANI VILLAGE

Apatani houses, with great Architecture are stacked close together, with roofs made from the omnipresent bamboo. Traditional bamboo and cane homes.







TARIN FISH FARM     
           An interesting place to observe scientific, yet traditional breeding and fishing practices. Fishes are raised here and are sold to farmers, who later place them in their terraced rice farms. It is located slightly away from Ziro and Hapoli town.






SHIV LINGAM

Welcome to the World tallest Shiv lingam Shideshwar Nath Temple, a nice place worship in the loneliness but nothing else.God Shiva is worshiped in all part of India but it least expected in this part of India. Its Amazing to find a Shiv Ling so huge in Ziro.






TALLEY VALLEY WILDLIFE SANCTUARY

Talley Valley Wildlife Sanctuary is a Wildlife sanctuary of Arunachal Paradesh. Arunachal Pradesh As a whole contains 40% of Flora and fauna species in India. The Ziro valley has a good share of this biodiversity.

The Apatani, recognized by UNESCO as a potential World Heritage Site for their highly efficient agriculture without animals or machines, have been striving to protect their traditional ways in the face of modernization. Reciting their history orally, lacking written records of their pasts, the Apatani maintain their traditions by remembering their legendary and mythical beginnings.

Named a World Heritage Site for its stunning natural beauty, Ziro Valley in Arunachal Pradesh is headquarters to Lower Subansiri District. Apatani Plateau, as Ziro is popularly known, is situated at an altitude of 5454 meters above sea level. The region is rich in rice fields and it is surrounded by mountains that boast of pine trees in great numbers. The wide range of flora and fauna seen here is soul captivating.

 
Bamboo Groove stands proof of the expertise displayed in farm forestry in this part of the land. One stem bamboo, referred to as monopodial, is grown here with blue clad pine. This spot is frequented by hikers as well as tourists.
